چکیده

Applying Baxter’s method of the Q-operator to the set of Sekiguchi’s commuting partial differential operators we show that Jack’s symmetric polynomials P (1/g) λ (x1, . . . , xn) are eigenfunctions of a one-parameter family of integral operators Qz . The operators Qz are expressed in terms of the Dirichlet-Liouville n-dimensional beta integral. From a composition of n operators Qzk we construct an integral operator Sn factorising Jack polynomials into products of hypergeometric polynomials of one variable. The operator Sn admits a factorisation described in terms of restricted Jack polynomials P (1/g) λ (x1, . . . , xk, 1, . . . , 1). Using the operator Qz for z = 0 we give a simple derivation of a previously known integral representation for Jack polynomials.

An explicit expansion for the Macdonald polynomials of the form H (32 a 1 b) [X; q, t] and H (41 k) [X; q, t] in terms of Hall-Littlewood symmetric functions is presented. The expansion gives a proof of a symmetric function operator that adds a row of size 3 to Macdonald polynomials of the form H (2 a 1 b) [X; q, t] and another operator that adds a row of size 4 to Macdonald polynomials of only...

Evaluation Properties of Symmetric Polynomials

By the fundamental theorem of symmetric polynomials, if P ∈ Q[X1, . . . , Xn] is symmetric, then it can be written P = Q(σ1, . . . , σn), where σ1, . . . , σn are the elementary symmetric polynomials in n variables, and Q is in Q[S1, . . . , Sn]. We investigate the complexity properties of this construction in the straight-line program model, showing that the complexity of evaluation of Q depen...

Affine Analogue of Jack’s Polynomials for ŝl2

Affine analogue of Jack’s polynomials introduced by Etingof and Kirillov Jr. is studied for the case of ŝl2. Using the Wakimoto representation, we give an integral formula of elliptic Selberg type for the affine Jack’s polynomials. From this integral formula, the action of SL2(Z) on the space of the affine Jack’s polynomials is computed. For simple cases, we write down the affine Jack’s polynom...

A q - analogue of the type A Dunkl operator and integral kernel

A q-analogue of the type A Dunkl operator and integral kernel We introduce the q-analogue of the type A Dunkl operators, which are a set of degree–lowering operators on the space of polynomials in n variables. This allows the construction of raising/lowering operators with a simple action on non-symmetric Macdonald polynomials. A bilinear series of non-symmetric Macdonald polynomials is introdu...
